Story is somewhat like the original game in terms of the morality and hardships of war, while the gameplay mechanics have been expanded somewhat while still maintaining the core loop of switching child soldiers in battle, delaying enemy attacks with machine gun/grenade launcher/cannon match-ups while raising affinity, upgrading the giant tank and doing farming chores and resource expeditions during intermissions. It's a fun JRPG experience that serves as a solid follow-up to the iconic Fuga: Melodies of Steel. ![]()
